Accessibility Statement
This site is built to be usable by everyone.
Poochin It is committed to making this website accessible to all visitors, including people who rely on assistive technologies. The following describes how this site is built and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier.
Standards We Follow
This site targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. That standard addresses perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness across a range of devices and assistive tools.
How This Site Is Built
- Semantic HTML. Page structure uses proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions (header, main, nav, footer), and descriptive labels on all interactive elements so screen readers can parse and announce content accurately.
- Keyboard navigation. Every link, button, and form field is reachable and operable using a keyboard alone. Focus indicators are visible and meet minimum size requirements.
- Colour contrast. Text and interactive elements are tested against WCAG AA contrast ratios — at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
- Responsive layout. Content reflows at any viewport width without horizontal scrolling or loss of functionality. Text can be enlarged to 200% without breaking the layout.
- Alternative text. Meaningful images carry descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked so assistive technologies skip them.
- Form accessibility. Every form field has a visible, programmatically associated label. Error messages identify the field in question and describe what is needed to correct the input.
Known Limitations
We test continuously and address issues as they are found. If you discover a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us.
